Isabella Spartz

Founder and Executive Director, @theyoungtexan, (she/her)

Isabella is a Texas-born advocate and recent graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas. She is the founder and lead content creator of The Young Texan and created The Young Texan(s) Initiative to make the Texas legislative session more accessible and transparent to everyday Texans, with a focus on issues that matter to young people. She hopes this project empowers young Texans to engage in policy and create change in their communities. Yu Yi (Carla) Wu

Carla is a Taiwanese immigrant and a high school junior at Tompkins High School. She is the founder and lead content creator of Global Youth Unite and serves as the Texas Director at the Youth Legislative Action Center, where she advocates for increased youth involvement in local legislative initiatives. Through The Young Texan Project, she is eager to connect with like-minded individuals and empower young Texans to engage in environmental and political policy to drive meaningful change in their communities.

Isadora Paul

Isadora Paul is a Philanthropy major at The University of Texas at Arlington, minoring in Spanish Linguistics and ASL & Deaf Studies. She serves as Precinct Chair #2148 for the Tarrant County Democratic Party, Texas State Policy Director for WWAD, an advocacy intern with Young Invincibles,and an organizer with SEAT and Texas Students for DEI. Passionate about equity and youth empowerment, Isadora uses her leadership and advocacy experience to drive policy change and create inclusive opportunities for marginalized communities across Texas.
